Samsung Galaxy S4 Stamina Test (Sprint, Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile Models)

Samsung Galaxy S4

We wanted to know what the battery life was like on the Samsung Galaxy S4 with AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon given that they would feature the Snapdragon 600 processor instead of the energy-saving big.LITTLE setup in the Exynos 5 octa-core chipset.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 will be coming to AT&T, Sprint, Verizon and T-Mobile very soon of course and there are some who have already made their minds up that this will be the device for them. There are some who cannot make their minds up between this handset and the HTC One though.
One of the things that concern most people is how long the battery might last and so we took a look at this on the US bound Samsung Galaxy S4.
The battery tests were carried out on the Snapdragon 600 version of the handset, instead of on the Exynos 5 Octa core. The latter could of course offer results that are better as it would have the big.LITTLE tech. However for now we are just testing the quad core that is said to be heading to the Samsung Galaxy S4 on Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and AT&T.
Basically the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the HTC One come out equal in benchmark tests.Gforgames said that the battery of the Samsung Galaxy S4 did give better life for talk time and video playing, while the HTC One came out top for browsing the web.
There is not a great deal of difference between the two however. Over on the other side,GSMArena gave the Samsung Galaxy S4 a rating of 63 for endurance. This means that the handset should remain on for around 63 hours if you only watched video, browsed the web and made calls for one hour each day.
Bear in mind that the tests might not turn out to be accurate when it comes to the real world, depending on how you use the device. However it does at least give us an idea as to how long of a battery life you could get from the Samsung Galaxy S4 on AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon.
