Samsung Galaxy S4 with Snapdragon 800 Chip Breaks Benchmark Records

The existing Samsung Galaxy S4 with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600 chip may be fast, but there’s always something faster – the same phone with Snapdragon 800 SoC.
The good news is that Samsung is working on it and has already put that phone through tests at AnTuTu, where the faster processor helped it break all previous benchmark records, including the Galaxy S4 with Sammy’s own Exynos 5 Octa chip. Moreover, we’re hearing that all versions of Samsung’s flagship sold in the last quarter of this year could ship with Snapdragon 800.
The bad news is that those of you who bought the current version of the Galaxy S4 will be turned into suckers once the faster model is out. Sure enough, you got some 6 months of top speeds but by the end of the year, those who waited will be the last ones laughing.
Aside from the Galaxy S4, the Snapdragon 800 may also find its way in the Samsung Galaxy Note III, LG Optimus G2 and HTC One Max.
