US Samsung Galaxy S4 Battery Test: Sprint, Verizon, AT&T & T-Mobile Snapdragon Version

The battery life results are in for the Samsung Galaxy S4 headed to US carriers Sprint, T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 is heading to the US market and this has caused a great deal of excitement. There are some that said they will buy the device, while others have chosen to go for the HTC One. Then there are others are wondering if something better might come.
So how is the battery life of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Snapdragon model which is US bound?
The battery tests were undertaken on the Snapdragon variation of the device, not the Exynos 5 Octa-core version, which could come out better. This is thanks to it having the big.LITTLE technology. The test was undertaken on the quad core version and this is the one that will be making its way to Sprint, AT&T, Verizon, US Cellular and T-Mobile.
The HTC One along with the Samsung Galaxy S4 came out as equals in the benchmark tests. But GforGames did point out that the battery life of the Samsung Galaxy S4 does better when it comes to talk time and playing videos, while the HTC One is the best for browsing the web.
Differences between the two are slim and if you are deciding between the two, it wouldn’t make much difference.
The battery life of the Samsung Galaxy S4 is not the best on the market though. GSMArenagave the handset an endurance rating of 63. This would mean that the device will remain switched on for around 63 hours if you were watching video, browsing the internet and calling for a period of one hour each day only.
You do have to consider the fact that in real life the tests may not be 100% real as you could use the handset differently. However it does provide you with an idea as to the amount of battery life you get for the Samsung Galaxy S4 on AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon. Bear in mind that the version we are comparing doesn’t have the big.LITTLE chip advantage which is said to beat the quad-core model headed stateside.
